Vodafone Malta is a longstanding client of ours. The company considers its portal to be a vital element in its marketing mix and in 2008 it decided to embark on a major upgrade of its online presence.
The project involved the redevelopment from scratch of the entire Vodafone Malta portal, including the integration of an advanced content management system. In addition a whole range of bespoke applications were required to enable online registration, Web2SMS, Web2MMS, online bill payments and top-ups and much more.
A specialised team consisting of graphic interface specialists and web application developers was set up in order to deliver this ambitious project. Work on design and development proceeded in parallel in order to meet the tight timeframes imposed by the client. Furthermore, a strong emphasis was placed on quality control.
After 6 months of hard work, the new Vodafone portal was finally launched in July 2009. The result was an attractive and interactive site that Vodafone clients use regularly.
The client was delighted with the result and commissioned further web applications that will be launched in early 2010.
